H and K Properties is a locally owned company located in downtown Lexington, VA, Owned by Heather Hamilton and assisted by Amy Lineberry in the daily operations as an administrative assistant, we work together as a team who are focused on the needs of our Landlords, Tenants, Buyers and Sellers. We are a full service Real Estate Company with almost 20 years of Real Estate and Property Management experience. We represent Landlords and their Commercial, Residential and Vacation Rental investment properties. We are dedicated to custom designing your management agreement to represent your property and minimize vacancy and tenant turnover.

We manage a high volume of rentals giving you the best chance of finding just what you are looking for. With almost 250 properties ranging in style and price we offer tenants a variety of properties to choose from and help find the home that most suits their needs.

Heather Hamilton
Broker / Owner
As a graduate of Virginia Tech and her love for horses, Heather has called this area home since 2001. She has a varied career background having worked in education, finance, horse training, coffee roasting and finally real estate. She obtained her real estate license in 2006 and embarked on her career in real estate sales. In December of 2007 Heather added the responsibilities of property management to her daily schedule. Heather is the company's contact for all information pertaining to rentals, property showings, and all aspects of the business required to be handled by a licensed real estate Broker. Heather is the 2021 President of the Rockbridge Highlands Realtors and volunteers on numerous Real Estate committees. When not showing property or riding her horse she enjoys cooking and spending time with her teenage daughter.
Amy Lineberry
Administrative Assistant
Amy has been with H and K Properties, Inc. since May, 2016. Her background in customer service and administrative assistance provides the experience needed to assist with the day to day operations in the fast-paced environment of rental management. She worked in the medical billing field for many years in North Carolina and Delaware. After some time away, she and her husband moved back to the area to raise their two daughters in Lexington. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family.
